Terms & Conditions

MINIMUM STAY: Cook Islands Holiday Villas have a minimum 3-night stay requirement in all our Holiday Villas located in Rarotonga, Cook Islands

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS POLICY: To stay by yourself in any of our properties, you must be 21 years and over. Anyone below this age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 21 + years.

NOSIE COMPLAINTS: We ask that you kindly respect the quiet enjoyment of the property for all guests and neighbours. Excessive Noise complaints will be made to the Police. Large gatherings or parties are not permitted in or around any villas or at any public areas without prior approval from management.

DAMAGES: You are responsible for any damage caused to the fixtures, furnishings, and fittings in your villa, and around the pool and property, you will be charged for repair/replacement costs.

You will be issued with one key to your villa. Please keep your key in a safe place at all times. If you lose your key, there may be a minimum $50 charge to change the locks to your villa and this charge may be added to your credit card.

You will be issued linen and towels for each person. Please keep your linen and towels in a safe place and good condition at all times. If you lose your towels, there will be a charge of up to $20 (not including normal wear & tear) to replace the towel and this charge will be added to your bill.

Cook Islands Holiday Villas provide complimentary use of a BBQ plus equipment, beach towels, and sun loungers. Cook Islands Holiday Villas, its management, and staff, do not assume any responsibility for any accidents, injury, or death that may be suffered or sustained as a result of your participation in any tours or activities (including water sports) or the use of any equipment, whether provided by Cook Islands Holiday Villas or others. You and your travelling companions acknowledge the risks associated with physical activities and release and indemnify Cook Islands Holiday Villas (as well as its management and staff) from any and all claims, losses, damages, and injury, of any kind whatsoever and however arising, from the participation in such tours or activities, whether provided by Cook Islands Holiday Villas or a third party provider booked through Cook Islands Holiday Villas.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES:
Our check in time is 2pm and our check out time is 10am.
Please note, Early check in and Late Check out service is subject to availability.
If available, early check-in (from 6am to 2pm) and late check-out (up to 6pm) costs 50% of nightly rate. Infants under 2 need to rent a   at $50 per stay. 

Upon check in, we require details of your credit card for payment security purposes. All Villa and sundry charges not paid upon departure
will be charged to this credit card number. If you do not have a credit card, we require a cash deposit of $500 per Villa.

TRANSFERS: Should you require the use of Airport Transfers, Cook Islands Holiday Villas highly recommends the transfer services of KaiMani Shuttles. To book this service, please email: charles@kaimanishuttles.com or book directly via their website: www.kaimanishuttles.com.
Please note, for Arrivals outside of our office hours (8am to 4pm), it is compulsory to book transfers with KaiMani Shuttles, as the driver will check you into your Villa. We will do the orientation with you the next morning.
However, should you decide to arrange your own transportation to the property, please let us know and we will advise the direction and check in procedure.

CANCELLATION/AMENDMENT POLICIES:

We do require 50% deposit at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

• 14 - less and No Show              100% of total accommodation

INTERNATIONAL DATELINE:
Due to crossing the International Dateline, most flights from Australia and New Zealand arrive the day before they depart. Please ensure your accommodation dates meet your arrival and departure requirements.

TRAVEL INSURANCE RECOMMENDATION:
We strongly recommend that you purchase adequate Travel Insurance to protect you against unforeseen advents, including but not limited to cancellation and/ or curtailment of travel due to natural disasters such as cyclones or similar events.

COOK ISLANDS VISITOR REQUIREMENTS:
All visitors must hold valid tickets for their return journey to a port of origin or next port of destination and passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay (From 30 August 2010, New Zealand (NZ) and Australian passport holders may also travel to the Cook Islands without seeking authority from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration provided their passports are valid for at least seven days beyond their intended period of stay in the Cook Islands.)

PAYMENT METHODS: Deposit payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, or Bank Transfer. (Please note there are Bank Fees incured when paying by Bank Transfer and a 4% Admin fee for Credit Card Payments).
